Research and study
The University Archive contains over 200 individual collections of graduate papers reflecting all areas of academic study and research. These collections continue to inform the work of current students at the University, both through teaching and personal research.
Traditionally the Library buildings have been very popular providing much needed resources and study space for students.
Extract from a diary entry made on 14th May 1947 by Irene M. Irving, a medical student:
"Likewise spent all the afternoon in the Cohen up in the bookstacks with Roma. She managed to drop her file through a slit in the floor to the floor below. Highly amusing."
